A tranquil few days were spent at Jenolan Caves earlier this year, installing a self supporting, zero impact scaffold to enable access for upgrade works on the dam wall.
The delicate surrounds had to be protected with endangered flora and fauna identified in the work area. All of the equipment was carried to the work area to avoid compaction by vehicles and the design had to account for 1 tonne winching and horizontal movement to enable the Client to remove and replace large valves.
It is such a pleasure to work on a diverse range of challenging and interesting projects in our beautiful region, meeting new contractors and seeing new places are just some of the perks of the work that we do.
