From the team at Dunbar Scaffold Hire - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Have you considered a temporary roof structure?
The wild weather and constant rain we have seen over the last two years makes it very difficult to program and get works done.
Have you considered a temporary roof structure? We have had an increase in demand for our temporary Kedar roof structures, they can be customised to suit your work area and situation, keeping the elements at bay while you get your time critical works completed.
This setup at the Crookwell wind farm ensured that technicians from interstate could get in and get their job done rain hail or shine.
St Peters & Pauls Cathedral, Goulburn
Built from 1871 - 1890, St Peter’s and Paul’s Cathedral is a State Heritage listed blue stone building which has been undergoing major renovations. Restoration works have been taking place both internally and externally including replacement of the fleche, rejuvenation of the stone, structural securing and underpinning and replacement of the slate roof.
Our team have done a fantastic job addressing each of the design challenges on this project, large amounts of engineering were required when working on a building of this age. This project has tested the skills of our talented team, using multiple scaffold systems and advanced scaffolding techniques that have resulted in a quality product for a happy client. This marks the culmination of 18 months of planning, design and hard work from the Dunbar Scaffold team, we have enjoyed being apart of this project and look forward to seeing this beautiful building brought back to life.
Project Showcase
We have cut together a little bit of footage from a project completed at the Wesley Church in Orange, it’s great to see another perspective!
Jenolan Caves
A tranquil few days were spent at Jenolan Caves earlier this year, installing a self supporting, zero impact scaffold to enable access for upgrade works on the dam wall.
The delicate surrounds had to be protected with endangered flora and fauna identified in the work area. All of the equipment was carried to the work area to avoid compaction by vehicles and the design had to account for 1 tonne winching and horizontal movement to enable the Client to remove and replace large valves.
It is such a pleasure to work on a diverse range of challenging and interesting projects in our beautiful region, meeting new contractors and seeing new places are just some of the perks of the work that we do.
